WHPacific’s Boise Transportation Team Wins Complex Design Contract With ITD District 3

US-20/26, I-84 to Middleton Road, Canyon Co. – ITD District 3

WHPacific was recently selected for this project that spans almost two miles and consists of widening a heavily used highway arterial to six lanes with a raised median, curb, gutter, and a multi-use pathway.  The project includes modifying the existing I-84 interchange to current design standards, modifying four existing traffic signals, designing two new traffic signals, intersection improvements, drainage, irrigation, MSE Walls, stiff leg box culverts, sound walls, right-of-way acquisition, and an environmental re-evaluation.  The project will also include preliminary design of a Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) for right-of-way acquisition purposes only. The project represents a huge win for the Boise office against heavy competition and is expected to showcase our talents across many transportation skillsets.
