WHPacific was recently awarded follow-on services by NMDOT to complete preliminary and final design of bridge replacement and road improvements on NM 566 in Gallup, NM. The project will replace an aging bridge over the BNSF Railroad and South Fork of the Rio Puerco. Led by senior bridge engineer Mike Zwolinski, WHPacific is currently preparing a project Scoping Report, evaluating various alignment and bridge alternatives, and developing a Bridge Type Selection Study. Design is scheduled for completion in September 2020 with construction programmed for FY 2021.
