Olympia, WA (March 6, 2008) –At the joint annual conference of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), American Congress on Surveying & Mapping (ACSM), and Land Surveyors Association of Washington (LSAW) in Spokane, Washington, locally-based Patrick J. Beehler, PLS, begins his term in office as NSPS President. Beehler is the Director of Surveying for WHPacific’s Olympia office, where he oversees a staff of licensed surveyors and technicians.

Beehler has over 40 years of experience, and has served on various boards, committees, and councils of NSPS, ACSM, and LSAW. His awards include NSPS Surveying Excellence (2006), NSPS Key Governor Award (2002), and LSAW Surveyor of the Year (1994). He is also an active member of the Tumwater Rotary Club and Thurston County Chamber of Commerce.
Upon the expiration of his presidential term in March 2009, Beehler will transfer into the Immediate Past President Position from March 2009 to April 2010.
